I’m Gina Marie Liu, a designer and art director currently consulting under Bellabrand Design, where I help brands communicate with clarity, intention, and strong creative craft. I’ve spent more than two decades shaping integrated design systems, multi-channel campaigns, and award-winning brand launches across healthcare, real estate, financial services, tech, and consumer industries. My work is grounded in understanding people—my clients, their teams, and the buyers they want to reach—so I can uncover what makes a brand truly worth noticing and express it visually with purpose.

Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with agencies, in-house teams, and founders to guide brand development, design campaigns, and oversee creative execution from concept through production. My background includes senior art direction roles in healthcare, tech, and real estate, including my work with Surterre Properties, where I developed the full identity system and earned the company 50+ industry awards. I bring that same strategic discipline and creative curiosity to my consulting clients today. Currently, I support Chronic Communications, a Med-Tech PR firm, as well as enchoice, an IBM Partner, and several ongoing B2B and consumer engagements—helping each organization refine its visual story and strengthen its presence across digital and print channels.

I’m collaborative, intuitive, and comfortable leading or supporting, depending on what a team needs. After taking time to raise my three children while continuing to consult part-time, I returned to full-time creative work with a renewed perspective and the same seasoned design and creative direction skills I’ve built over the years. I’m based in San Juan Capistrano, where pilates, yoga, strength training, and beach walks keep me grounded—a balance that naturally informs the calm, focused energy I bring to every brand I help build.
